The Eye Is Like an Onion

Mark 8:25 (NIV)"Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly."🔗 Read More

Not Everything Is As It Seems

Have you ever cut open an onion and noticed how many layers it has?

That’s how the eye works too—it’s made of layers.

And just like things aren’t always what they seem on the surface; your spiritual vision works the same way. We see one layer of reality- bills due, bank account low- the numbers don’t add up.

But when you go into prayer and faith, God reveals a different picture beyond what your natural eyes see.

  • You thought the money wasn’t there, but God provided.

  • You thought the opportunity was gone, but God opened another door.

  • You thought you were losing, but God was setting you up for a win.

Seeing with 20/20 Spiritual Vision

Mark 8:22-25 tells us about the blind man that Jesus healed.

At first, the man couldn’t see clearly. But Jesus touched him again—and his vision was restored.

That’s what fasting does.

God starts peeling back layers, revealing truth beyond the surface. He’s the potter—you are the clay. He’s ready to shape and restore you. But He’s waiting for you to depend on Him like a child depends on their father.

Look Up—Not Around

Psalms 121:1-2 (NIV)"I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."🔗 Read More

When the world distracts you with problems, fear, and doubt—shift your focus. Look beyond the first layer. Look beyond what seems impossible. Look up—because your help comes from the Lord.
