When we were children learning to walk, we fell—but we got back up and tried again. In a child’s mind, the excitement of exploring what’s ahead is greater than the fear of falling. So, they keep trying, determined to stand on their own.
Then, something happens. One day, they find their balance. And now, they can walk freely, reaching places they couldn’t before. That childlike persistence is a perfect reflection of our spiritual journey with Christ.
As kids, many of us grew up going to church every Sunday. Whether we understood it or not, those early years were our first steps in faith. But just like toddlers who stumble, we all fall along the way.
Who Picks You Up When You Fall?
When a child falls, a loving parent or sibling is there to help them back up. But when we stumble in life as adults, who is there to pick us up? That’s where God steps in.
Romans 3:23 reminds us that we all fall short, but just like a loving Father, God is always there, ready to lift us up.
No matter how many times we’ve messed up, no matter how hard the fall—He is still reaching for us, restoring us, and helping us regain our footing.

God’s Plan Was Never for You to Stay Down
The enemy wants you to believe it’s over when you fall. But God never intended for you to stay down. Instead of walking into chaos, you are meant to walk into peace, blessings, and joy.
Maybe you’ve struggled to stay committed to this fast. Maybe you slipped up and thought about quitting. Guess what? Get back up. Try again. God isn’t counting your failures—He’s looking at your faith.
Keep walking, because God is still right there, reaching for you every time.
Reflection Prompt:
