How Do I Handle the Wait?

Trusting God's Timing

As the old Dottie Peoples song says: "He may not come when you want Him, but He’ll be there right on time. He’s an on-time God, oh yes, He is!"

Praise Him!

But what do you do when your prayers aren’t answered on your timetable?

  • Do you keep praying?

  • Do you continue to praise Him?

  • Or do you get frustrated and turn away?

God sees how we handle the waiting season. He is the Author of our story, and His timing is always perfect—even when we don’t understand it.

When the Answer Hasn’t Come Yet

Have you ever considered that it may not be time yet for your breakthrough? Look back at past moments when God answered your prayers. Wasn’t it always at the right time?

When we pray, we must trust that:

He hears our cries.

He knows our needs.

And when the time is right—He will answer.

Don’t allow waiting to weaken your faith. Instead, let it build your patience and deepen your trust.

God will never turn His back on you—don’t turn your back on Him.
