You may not control your circumstances, but you can control your response. Trust God’s plan.

What Are You Holding the Remote To?

Control sounds like power.

When you have the TV remote, you can change the channel.

When you have a video game controller, you can move the character.

But what happens when you’re holding…

A stack of unpaid bills?

A bad doctor’s report?

Grief from losing a loved one?

What kind of control do you have then?

Your Real Power Is in Your Response

I’ve been there. I’ve felt overwhelmed.

Instead of praying, I stopped.

Instead of reading the Word, I pulled away.

Instead of trusting God, I tried to fix things myself.

And what did I get?

❌ Wasted time.

❌ More stress.

❌ Even less control.

God Didn’t Create You to Worry—He Created You to Trust

1 Peter 4:12-13 (CEV)"Dear friends, don't be surprised or shocked that you are going through testing that is like walking through fire. Be glad for the chance to suffer as Christ suffered. It will prepare you for even greater happiness when he makes his glorious return."🔗 Read More

God wants to be depended on.

God wants to carry the load.

God wants you to enjoy life, not worry about it.

So when things seem out of your control, remember this:

✅ You CAN control how you respond.

✅ You CAN control whether you trust God or yourself.

✅ You CAN control your attitude in the storm.

Your response determines what God adds to your life.

Reflection Prompt:

What areas of your life feel out of control right now?

How can you shift your response and trust God instead?

Write them down. Pray over them. Surrender them.
